Turn your FAQs into schema.
Free tools · FAQ schema generator · Runs in your browser
Enter the questions and answers that already appear on one page. You get a FAQPage JSON-LD script tag for that page, so machines can read the same Q&A your visitors see.
In August 2023 Google limited FAQ rich results to well-known, authoritative government and health sites, so for most sites this markup will not produce a rich result in Google. It still states your Q&A in a form machines can parse. Mark up only questions and answers that are visible on the page, word for word.
JSON-LD
Fill in a question and its answer, and the markup appears here as you type.
Then put it on the page
- Step 1
Paste it once
Into the <head> or the body of the page that shows these questions. One FAQPage block per page.
- Step 2
Validate it
Run the page through Google's Rich Results Test or the Schema.org validator, and fix anything they flag.
- Step 3
Keep both in sync
When you edit a question on the page, edit the markup too. Markup that no longer matches the page is worse than none.
